A monk saki monkey foraging high in the canopy of a rain forest tree. Monk sakis have coarse, long, shaggy fur and long, bushy tails. They spend their lives in the trees in small family groups, feeding mostly on fruits but also leaves and insects ("Pithecia monachus", Pitheciidae).
